Basic Life & AD&D
ILRC offers 100% company paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance for every benefit eligible employee through UNUM of $50,000. If you leave ILRC, you can port or convert your life insurance to an individual policy within the first 30 days of your departure.
Voluntary Life and AD&D
In addition to Basic Life/AD&D, you are eligible to purchase additional life insurance in $10,000 increments up to the lesser of 5x your annual salary or $500,000 for yourself. For your spouse, you can purchase coverage in $5,000 increments up to $250,000, not to exceed 100% of your benefit. For children, you can purchase coverage in $2,000 increments up to $10,000, not to exceed 100% of your benefit.
